Why am I receiving a "SIM card not detected" error?

Have had HTC One for about 2 weeks, no issues, love the phone.....THEN all of a sudden started getting message that SIM card was not detected, no service, couldn't call out or text for a few hours, then it starts working just fine again. Anyone else experience this?

Could the SIM card have been jostled loose, or perhaps isn't properly seated so the connection is shaky?  Try removing it and reinserting it, making sure it is solidly in place.  Let us know if your issues continue.

If problems do continue, you can try a new SIM card - they are free from a Verizon wireless store.  The one you have may just be defective.
