I have received a couple of the WEA's but they don't make any noise just a pop up screen that I usually notice well after the threat is over. I am using GO SMS Pro for my texting, does this make a difference? I have checked in my messaging settings and all WEA's are toggled on. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
It probably does make a difference that you're using GO SMS Pro as your default messaging app. I've never encountered any issues with WEAs doing this on a Thunderbolt running the stock txt app.
i'm guessing this is correct because aren't the settings for the WEA's inside of the stock sms app? i may be wrong, but i thought you went through the sms app to get to the settings for those types of notifications?
Depends on the device and the software version. Some of them have the WEA's embedded with the device setting, instead of with a particular app.
So the only way it will work like it is supposed to is by using the stock app. That kinda defeats its purpose.
