java compatible browser

this question has come up before but I thought i was told the new Tbolt wouldn't have this issue.  I still have several websites when on my Tbolt that won't function and give me the message "needs a java compatible web browser."  Is this an ongoing android based problem that still isn't fixed, or is the user (me) just not doing something correct?

The Android browser is compatible with websites using javascript but if it actually uses Java, it isn't going to work.

Thanks for the information everyone. That's correct, your phone is compatible with Javascript. You can use the directions below to ensure your JavaScript settings are enabled.

  1. From the Home screen, select the applications tab (lower-left corner).

  2. Select Internet.

  3. Select Menu.

  4. Select More.

  5. Select Settings.

  6. Select Enable Javascript.
    Enabled
    --Green check mark present
    Disabled
    --Green check mark not present
