On the (htc thunderbolt) how can I get more notifications
sounds to choose from when I get text’s messages, like maybe a thunder sound. Can
someone help me please.

You will need to download the custom sound from the web or through an application from the Market. Zedge is one that comes to mind.
To get the phone to recognize that the tone is going to be a notification tone, you need to create the following folder on your sd card and place the files in there.
In the root of the sd card create:
/ media / audio / notifications
You can also create:
/ media / audio / ringtones
/media / audio / alarms

Zedge will also allow you to directly set the tones that you download as your notification tone (from inside the app you can download the tones you want and set them as your ringtone, notification, etc.....without messing with the folders i believe).
