Beginning the evening of Sunday 12/4, both Communities will be placed in read-only mode. You’ll still be able to visit the Communities and browse content, but login will be disabled. Is micro sdhc compatible with the Thunderbolt?

The 32 GB micro SD card included in the purchase of the HTC Thunderbolt is a sdhc class 4 micro SD card.

We only recommend Micro SD cards for the phones.  I would stick with that as we do not have any compatibility charts for different types of cards.  I can say that it doesn't matter which manufacturer you choose.  Duracell, Samsung, and Sandisk are all fine. We just recommend Micro SD cards though.
