How do I sync my phone with Outlook? Is there a download? where do I find it?
My solution was to use Google Calendar Sync to start with ... You can read about it here:

Then I did an export of my contacts from Outlook and imported them into my Google account (a ten minute process).
Now I am a year down the road and I find myself only using Outlook if I need to look up an old email from before I had my first Google based phone. I am considering taking down the Google Calendar Sync since I don't use Outlook any more, but I figure it's still a "backup" of sorts for my calendar.
