voicemail notification sounds

hi,i am new to the htc thunderbolt and i need help,i am running the current software update if that helps..i have my voicemail notification set to a certain alert sound ,but when my voicemail goes off it is using the alert sound i have for the default notifications and im confused to why this is happening

Hello smurfette815. I know it can be fun to customize your notifications. According to our records, the notification sounds are grouped together on the Thunderbolt. Menu, Settings, Sounds, Notifications. The sound chosen will be the same for all notifications. I hope this is helpful.
