Failed connection using WPS or AOSS

Need assistance making a wireless connectiion on a Brother MFC 8810DW Laser Printer. I have a Verizon MI424WR router made by Actiontec. When I try to use the WPS or AOSS method I get a "failed connection" report. Any assistance would be appreciated.

The button on router does not function. You will have to enter the key by hand.
