New FIOS Setup - MOCA COAX

I am a current FIOS cust0omer. I am moving from my house to an apartment. The apartment uses FIOS. However, the only wall connections are coax; there is a coax in each room and the living room. My house uses ethernet for all rooms, so having only coax in each room, with no ethernet wiring, is new to me.

The living room will have the router, a computer (ethernet connected), and my FIOS DVR. The other room will need the same setup.

Am I correct in that all I will need is a MOCA LAN bridge? Such as this device:

And then all I'd need to do is what is outlined within scenario 1 of this guide?

It also appear that I might need a coax splitter; not sure if there is a recommended splitter to use.

Splitter is documented in the link you posted

Verizon specs say

Coax splitter meets specifications to support MoCA 2.0
5MHz – 1675MHz

So anything that meets that will work

Instead of the ECB 2500 you could use instead any old cheap 2nd hand verizon router (many on Ebay). That will also give you a local wap at each router point.

Dist from ONT to first splitter 15 ft,then to upstairs splitter 12 ft.,to office splitter 25 ft.,to ROUTER 4 ft.,to HD DVR thru wall 4 ft.from upstairs splitter to STB 3 ft.,to WCB3000N 3 ft. Hope this is of help to you.
