Hello, just sharing my problem and solution with the mifi x pro hotspot in case it helps other people.
I was struggling with having my hotspot randomly turning off and not knowing why.
I solved it by:
- Turning on and looking at the diagnostic logs (Guide)
- The log times appear to be in UTC +0 regardless of user preferred time, with the latest logs at the bottom. The timestamps reset when the device is powering on before syncing up with network time.
- Searching the logs for state_change which the device logs whenever it turns on or off, i noticed that i was sending a high_temp notification before powering off
- I taped some large flat metal pieces to the front and back of the hotspot to act as a heatsink, seemed to do the trick.
