I heard that NY is getting the 1.9 rollout after 10/10/11.

Starting in Nyack, NY, Westchester, NJ and then LI / Queens.

(Remember, the Verizon CEO lives in Nyack!)

not available in my part of Queens and I'm getting so impatient. My DVR  is at 79% and filling up faster than I can watch and delete shows. I'm in Cambria Hts. Need that extra storage quick....

Someone on a previous post indicated next week for VHO 5 (Queens).  I hope they are right, I am anxious to get 1.9

Anyone.  Yes those people who where in the slow spin have had it for many weeks.  But the majority of us in VHO 5 are still waiting, as is RI and MASS.

I live in Long Island and the message appeared (again) on my STB's this morning that a new FiOS TV is coming....

So it has!.  So perhaps as soon as this week, but certainly planned by next week.

Are you sure?

I  don't have any messages on my DVR here in Mass about upgrade. So, does it mean that NY will get upgrade  ny the end of November and Mass will not? I would not be suprised at all if this happens. In the end of the day Joe Ambeault is still in charge of operation and I don't have confidence in this guy whatsoever.

Others in Mass have mentioned it appearing.  Sometimes the box needs a reboot to show these messages.

There must be a way of condensing all of these subjects/questions/criticisms into one area so the same issue is not so scattered and repeated over and over again on one separate post after another.  It's disorganized and I've never seen so much impatience and attitude over things that aren't even worth a minute spent getting so worked up about.  I'm sorry people feel that way.  I have dealt with rude customer service reps but at the same time, they definitely have hard jobs if this is what they have to constantly deal with....no offense. 

I'm just going to make sure that from now on, I pay attention to the Spotlight magazines that I periodically receive in the mail.  It really was silly for me to keep throwing them out and treating them like junk mail.  I'm old enough to know how to scan the headings and pick out what's important.  After all, it's a service that I'm paying for and I should be in the loop about any upcoming upgrades and updates.   

And yes, I remain a satisfied Verizon Fios customer.
