Fios Home internet Parental Controls and Discontinued Routers

As of October 17th, router-based parental controls have been discontinued for the following routers:

  • G31000
  • CR100A
  • CR1000B

Parental control has always been available as part of Verizon's Home Network Protection which is retiring by October 28th. Customers with the Fios Router (G3100) and (CR1000A/B) will be automatically migrated to Verizon's new Digital Secure Home Service. Customers remaining on non-qualifying legacy routers will not be migrated to Digital Secure Home.

Standalone router-based parental controls (Digital Secure Home)  are available free through:

  • My Verizon
  • Verizon Home App
