Verizon Relevant Online Advertising program helps make ads you see online more interesting and useful and helps advertisers understand the effectiveness of their ad campaigns. Relevant Online Advertising program does not use information about non-Verizon websites you visits or your precise location. Your postal address is used.
Postal address may be extrapolated from the public IPv4 address assigned to your home router. Each neighborhood distribution hub only assigns IPv4 addresses in a certain pool, so a neighborhood's public IPv4 address is predictable based on this pool.
To OPT-OUT, please sign into your Verizon account.
There are two (2) ways to reach the opt-out dialog. One is to Edit profile & settings below the Welcome back. On the Account Settings page, on the right, click Verizon Privacy Dashboard.
On the Verizon Privacy Dashboard, click under Controls, Manage Relevant Online Advertising settings.
Another way is to click Manage your Internet in under the Services.
This arrives in the Manage Internet dashboard. Under the My internet plan, Locate the grid says Manage online advertising preferences.
A window will pop-up with a checkbox. Please open all hyperlinks and read the terms and information in their entirety. Please make an informed decision on whether to Opt-Out of Online Advertising Preferences.
Whether you Opt-Out or stay Opted In, you need to Save your preferences.
