How to Register for My Verizon
This article guides you on how to register your account and create your profile for My Verizon.
Before you begin, please note:
The My Verizon user ID / 10-digit mobile number and password are used to access all Verizon wireless portals (e.g., My Verizon, Verizon Cloud, etc.).
The My Verizon user ID or your email address and password are used to access all Verizon Fios portals.
To register the 10-digit mobile number of a non-text messaging-capable device (e.g., 5G Home Internet, Mobile Hotspots, etc.) check the email provided at time of purchase for the link to register. That email link is valid for 3 days. If the link is no longer accessible or can't be found, follow the steps below to have the code mailed to the address on the account. If necessary, contact Customer Service for immediate account assistance.
Steps:
1. Navigate to the My Verizon Registration page then select the line of service (Mobile, 5G Home Internet, Fios, Prepaid Mobile).
2. From the Create your profile page, enter the following info:
- Email (The email address becomes your user id and must be unique for each My Verizon profile)
- Create password
- Confirm password
3. Review the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, select I agree then select Continue.
4. Check your email and select the Verify email link within 5 minutes.
5 .From the Welcome to Verizon page, choose a Secret Question then enter the answer and select Continue.
6. From the Link your existing services page, do one of the following then select Continue:
- Select Verizon phone number then enter your ten-digit mobile number.
- Select Account number then enter your Verizon account number.
7. (Mobile accounts only) If prompted, select one of the following then select Continue:

- I am the Account Owner. I am financially responsible for the account.( Not available if an Account Owner is already registered.)
- Enter Billing ZIP Code
- Enter Account PIN
- Account Member
- Account Member.
8. (Mobile only) If prompted, select the line of service.
9. Select one of the following verification methods then select Continue:
- Mobile device
A free text is sent to the number provided. - Email address
An email is sent to the address provided. - U.S. mail
A letter is mailed to the address on the account with a temporary code. If selected, return to this step and select I already have a one-time registration code once the letter has been received. - I already have a one-time registration code
10. If Mobile device or Email was selected:
A. Select the link received within 2 minutes then select Allow access.
B. Select Submit to complete linking existing service to your profile.
