That is very interesting. Yes location data is on because some apps require that, like lost phone finder apps, but data should still be off. I understand your point though.

I thought location services were GPS based.

GPS will ask if you want to turn location on when you use it. I don't like the idea that people could locate me if I'm on social media site or Google.

I'd try turning that off, but my finder app needs location to find it if its lost.

Well, you've come up with some interesting points. i guess its just a design flaw. Its a good phone, dont get me wrong, but ive had too many network, hardware and software issues with this phone to justify going this route again. LOL Thanks again.

This is what I was talking about with the Mobile Data off, but the 4G radio still on. And, for some reason I still have 0.5 download speeds on data, when I use it.

Data is always on on Verizon LG G2.
