I'm curious if this device will receive Android 2.3. So far is has underperformed to my expectations, clearly described features and battery life is a lie. So will this device recieve gingerbread?
It would fix alot of the issues I've been having such as speed, battery life, front facing camera not working in skype.
Why is this a secret?

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Not sure what you're doing to your phone but my battery life is phenominal! 10-12 hours with moderate/heavy use. No reboots, no force closes or anything.

Battery life is all dependant on many factors.
If in a 3g only area = Battery life longer.
If in a Strong Signal area (max bars displayed) = longer battery life.
Anytime you are in a low signal area, your phone will use more battery to attain the signal and also, if you are in a 4g area, using 4g, battery life will also be reduced.
When I went to get the LG Revolution, I was warned (YES, Warned) about the battery life. Being that that was the only wanring about the phone, I went for it because it was much more responsive than my Driod 2 Global and was having so many issues with the global (went through 3 of them in a 7 months period for malfunctions (reboots, backlight dying, etc.). So far, my Revo has proven to be very solid and I'm very happy with it. yeah, I wish it had a dual core processor, but compared to my 1.2GHz dual core Droid 2 Global, the Revo's single core 1GHz processor is overall faster.
