Hi all, just got my revolution today. It's my first smartphone ever, i own an itouch but am new to android scene. I was just wondering how to completely close out of apps, free resources, etc. i know to get to recent apps just hold down home menu and then the app you choose is where you left it. I was windering if there's a way to close them so they won't be in the "recent" menu. Thanks for any info!

You can get a Task Killer but they usually cause issues if you do not understand how to setup and use them, I suggest trying System Panel from https://market.android.com/details?id=nextapp.systempanel&feature=search_result and see if it helps...
One thing you need to remember that the apps can not be completely closed because everytime the system need them they will open back up on their own. If the device is working fine I would suggest leave well enough alone because this is you first Smartphone because misconfiguration of a apps can cause more issues than leaving it alone.
This is just a opinion and its your decision.
