I have called Verizon and talked on the phone for several hours with no help whatsoever. I can get the model (LG G2) but the techs have said it is affecting other phones as well, so they are recommending getting the LG G3. The funny part is that they won't send me the G3 replacement.
Here's the problems:
-In a moderately lit room, or darker, the Knock On feature doesn't work. It "thinks" it's in a pocket and doesn't turn on. If I try to hit the power button on the back, it flickers the screen on and off. Annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It becomes unusable after 6PM.
-When I am in a call and put the phone to my head, it's game over. When I take it away from my head, the screen doesn't turn back on so I have to hold the power button for 10-15 seconds to reboot the phone. Great feature Verizon!!
Moral of the story is that Verizon does not test these phones well enough, and they don't stand behind their techs who recommended to get a G3.
So I'm stuck with a screwed-up phone unless Verizon takes care of the customer. T-Mobile is looking very enticing now...
