Does LG G2 support future LTE capabilities?

If I buy a LG G2 today, will it support AWS, or LTE-A capabilities in the future?

From the specs I saw, not the Verizon model, I could be wrong... but the global model does support all the new stuff coming out, verizon version based on their specs only has what Verizon currently offers.
