I don't like change, but I particularly don't appreciate bad changes. Specifically, I don't like the new icons, meaningless colors or harder to read fonts. Whoever designed this has no idea about how the human eye works or how data is arranged. It's enough to make me want to throw my phone out the window.
There is no going back, you cannot revert. You can use a 3rd party launcher from the Play Store to change colors, fonts, icons, etc....To add, I'm not a huge fan of the aesthetics myself, but my phone works properly.
