I would like to attach a specific "IM" tone when I receive an IM just like a ring tone. I was told that Verizon does not support this at this time, does anyone know of an App that can be used, or when Verizon will update?
I love customizing my alerts so I don't have to look at my phone to see what the alert is for too, rjhahn168. What type of instant mMessage account are you trying to customize? Are you using an application for those instant messages you downloaded from the Play Store or one preinstalled in the phone? I'd love to help see if there's a way we can get you enjoying your G2 even more.
