I just switched to Verizon. I have all my songs in a folder on my computer and I need to find out how to get them onto my LG G2. Can anyone help? (I'm not a tech guru so please explain in simple terms :-)

Use your data cable you use to charge with. Plug it into the computer it will load drivers before you can access you phones folders. Click on computer find your phone double click on it then click it again you will see a folder called music.Drag and drop your music into this folder. To drag and drop left click and hold and drag it into the music folder.
