LG Revolution - Is there a way to jump to future day without swiping over & over again?

Is there a way to jump to future day without swiping over and over again??  When checking my schedule a week ahead, or wanting to add an appointment, i would like to touch a day in the future, and have it come up in the day format so I can add an appt.  All I seem to be able to do is continually "swipe" the calendar from day to day in the full day mode until i get to the day i want.  Very cumbersome.  Will have to go back to Blackberry if this can't be fixed.

Select the calendar, and from the left bottom button next to the home button, select jump to date.
