Lg G2 Bluetooth dialer - get confirmation on number or change voice dialer

I have an LG G2 that i use with a samsung HM1900 bluetooth headset.  Using the bluetooth caller it does not confirm the number to call and usually calls the wrong number.  Voice mate does a better job of getting the number right.

A)  Can I force the bluetooth to use the voice mate app as its dialer?

B)  Can I force confirmation before it dials a call?

C)  What commands are available in bluetooth?  When it tells me it is dialing the wrong number the only thing I can do is to press the end key.  Not very helpful when I am driving.

D)  Is there an app that will provide the full range of bluetooth command, inlcuding cancel, help, confirm etc.

any and all help will be appreciated

OMG, the voice dialer was broken hard with KK wasn't it? It was excellent under JellyBean, and it's horrific now.

OK, you might want to try the followng:

Settings | Application manager | scroll right till you see "All".

Now scroll down till you see "Voice Command".

Select it.

Disable it.

Now Google Voice will handle the BT call button. The first time you use it, you may have to share your contacts with Google+, I can't remember, otherwise it won't complete the dial.

After you do this, you'll have INFINITELY better voice recognition and voice dialing over Bluetooth. You'll also have access to other voice commands. Smiley Happy

Hello Ramai, we can absolutely point you in the right direction! Since the device is manufactured by Samsung, you may want to reach out to them regarding the specifics on the device. I did find a user manual that may help answer some of your questions: http://bit.ly/1g8LbUE

Sorry.  But this answer is not optimal for a few reasons that I outline.

A)  I had spoken to Samsung and they said that the phone controlled things like confirmations.  B) I had already found the manual and it did not have anything related to training the Bluetooth to understand commands or to forcing a confirmation before it dials out.  C) the PDF you directed me to had a "download now" feature that AVG anti-virus considers malware.

Would you know what program the Bluetooth activates to understand commands?  Is it possible to get there and adjust settings?  thanks

You are not alone. Even with 4.4 it launches that useless, terrible voice dialer. Google Now or the Voice Mate app would be preferable but the voice dialer is terrible. I've been digging on xda-developers and apparently it can be done if you root the phone but for me that is not an option. It should be standard like any other phone. It's also not Verizon's fault because the other carrier models and even the international model have this problem. I just want to throw it out the window every time it calls the wrong person without confirmation.
