I bought an LG G2 yesterday and for the whole day yesterday, everything was working out fine. Most everything is working fine today, however my phone will not make any noise when I receive a text message. I've tried a soft reset, turning the volume all the way down/up again, changing the tones, setting it to vibrate/back again, everything I can imagine in both general sound settings and within the messaging settings. Am I missing something? Has anyone else had this problem?
Hmm, i was going to suggest seeing if you've turned off a ringtone for notifications. Is it just Messages or are you getting notification sounds for your other applications?
Try going into application manager > Messages and see if notifications are enabled.
