Phone constantly cuts out

More often than not, it seems every time I begin a game the phone cuts out and goes back to the phone main screen. Why does it do this? I am old school and not real versed on this new age technology.  I am on a prepaid plan. Does that matter? It has only recently begun doing this. It is also not receiving/sending all of my messages. What is it that I'm not understanding here? So any and all help would be appreciated

Your phone shouldn't be cutting out on you. Being prepaid also doesn't make a difference. I would like to know which phone do you have? Have you attempted to remove the app and reinstall it? Did the freezing and texting issue start after downloading a specific app?

What game is it?  Generally speaking, the G2 can play everything on the market given its hardware specs.  Only thing I can think of is maybe RAM is low with however many apps or bloatwares are running in memory.
