Remove kitkat

My phone was working well before the upgrade, now the battery is draining quickly even when its not in use, its overheating and I can't send or receive pictures via text. I have done a soft reset, I have gone and changed the settings so its not using so much battery..but Nada. I haven't done a hard reset because I would rather not because it would take me forever to re-load everything onto my phone. I tried to calling the 800 number but was on hold for 30 minutes. I am getting frustrated with this phone..is it possible to uninstall KitKat?

I downloaded the LG flashtool and went back to 4.2.2 and my phone is back to usable again, kitkat really messed this wonderful device up.

jennrules,

I am so sorry to hear of the issues you are having after the software update. We want you to have  a fully functional device. Does you device overheat only when in certain applications? Are you using the factory installed application to send text messages? Please try this and test... http://vz.to/1tye3uw

It overheats when I use any app for longer then 10 minutes, also my I keep getting an error msg about my visual voice mail not working because data is not connected. I have either 3g or 4g when I get this message. I can't send pictures via the stock messaging app. I  pretty much told you in the title that my phone is an lg g2, my phone hasn't been working properly since the update. I am getting to the point where I am just going to take the steps of uninstalling it because if you read other posts, other people are having the same issues. If you came out with an update to fix these issues, I would hold off until it became available. But I don't see that happening and the instructions for safe mode don't work for my phone.

jennrules11,

I definitely understand your frustration, but we don't want you to feel that way. We want to make sure you have a realible phone. What is the error message you get when you try Safe Mode http://vz.to/1iqERua ?
