Today, my son's phone started giving him a "message not sent" notification every time be sent a text message even though his messages are being sent. How do we stop these notifications?

I appreciate this information. I want to make sure we get this resolved. When did this start? Is this happening with all text being sent? You can try Settings>Application manager>All>Messaging and force stop/clear data on just the Messaging Application. After this is done power the phone off then on and retest sending a text message.

It started last Wednesday. We did what you suggested, but he still had the same problem.
