Hulu Live and IP address

I just got Verizon LTE home internet and I signed up for Hulu Live in order to cancel cable. I have had an issue with Hulu where it doesn't recognize I am home and won't allow me to live stream at all and/or gives me the wrong local channels and had to go through Hulu support to fix it. They said the reason is because Verizon uses a Dyanamic IP. Is there a fix for this? Or will I have to contact Hulu every time there's an issue? Because this may be a deal breaker. Very frustrating.

We are sorry to read that you are having this issue with your internet, we'll be glad to help out. In this case Hulu would need to update your account so that you are able to view the shows available in your area.

Here are a few details about Hulu + Live TV to check out to correct location settings in Hulu + Live TV:

Click on the profile icon.

Select account.

Navigate to the Privacy and Settings section.

Click on Set or Change Home.

Save the new location.

Note: If not successful, visit help.hulu.com and select Contact Us (at the bottom of the page).

Great question. Based on my own personal experience, once they manually set the location, it does not change. I only reached out once, and it never changed. ~Peter
