After getting thumbs up from BYOB portal on VZW, I decided to switch to VZW prepaid. As I set to purchase a prepaid SIM from VZW website, at one stage a message said "Number porting may take 48 hours or in some cases occurs instantly". I am scratching my head because if I order for a VZW SIM and before getting the physical SIM by courier, my number gets ported out, how am I supposed to operate?! This message stopped me in my tracks. Any suggestions or ideas, anyone?
