I placed a preorder for S23 from Samsung.com. An $800 bill credit promotion (via Verizon) for trading in an old phone is shown on Samsung.com. My question is how to start the trade-in and when I should start the trade-in process to get a total $800 bill credit. I heard I should begin the trade-in process after receiving and activating the new S23. If I go through the trade-in process right (I don't have the new phone yet), the estimated trade-in value is only $75. Can anyone comment on the trade-in process after purchasing from a third party like Best Buy or Samsung.com?
Thank you in advance for your help

I have the same question, we've had new devices for a week and have no idea how to start the trade in process.

After activating my new S23 Ultra, I have started the Verizon.com Trade-in process (search trade in and click trade in start). I followed the instruction and was given the full promotion value for my old phone. I recommend to drop the old phone at the corporate store for instant assessment and approval.

blshimp,
It's always good to have your trade-in info squared away, and I'm happy to help out with this Samsung offer. Based on their website, it looks like it's the same promotion we offer, but I don't see the terms on how to process the trade-in on their end. So, to ensure you get the offer, I'd recommend using the link here (http://spr.ly/66063tlk0) and then clicking on "Questions about carrier offers?", which will bring up a chat window to use. They'd be able to provide the next steps to take.
