I just switched to Verizon and I am already having an infuriating experience. I was promised a $200 gift card for porting over my number, but when I asked the support staff for the information on that, they denied the existence of such an offer and tried to gaslight me. After an hour of talking I finally got them to admit that such an offer existed but they refused to give me the instructions necessary to redeem it.
Much to my frustration, I google this problem and see that I am not the only one given abusive treatment by Verizon regarding this issue. Utterly disgraceful. If this problem is not fixed I will strongly consider switching back to another carrier.
