At the Verizon Costco Kiosk back in October 2023.
With 2 lines ported to Verizon AND the purchase of two(2) new phones we were told that Verizon would give us $200 switcher rebate per line -- total $400. The rep also told us that we will receive the digital gift card via email in about 2 months after the activations.
We were waiting and didn't see any email. On 01/06/24, I called Verizon to inquire about the rebates. The Verizon Rep told me that he put in the inquiries, and we should receive the email in 3-5 days. Patiently we waited until 01/23/24 and contacted Verizon again. This time the Verizon Rep told us that we have to go to the rebate link to fill out the information... after filled in the promo code & order date, the result -- "the submission time frame has expired". And, we were told flatly that "we are sorry but there's nothing we could do or offer!" (REALLY???)
I'm not sure if this was done intentionally. But we were not informed of all the proper steps in order to receive rebates (i.e. go to the link to fill out the form). And even on my initial contact on 01/06/24, I was misled that the rebates/digital gift card will be emailed to me in 3-5 days.
I felt like I was cheated by Verizon to switch over!
It is true that most gift card promotions like this do require a rebate submission, IMConcern. You certainly should receive accurate information anytime you reach out to us for help. As you stated, we should receive accurate information at the time of purchase and at the time we reached out to Verizon. But, we did not. We would very much appreciate your review and assistance.
How did you get the rebate link? I can’t find that or my promo codes. We ported 6 phones and 2 tablets

I had the same issue. I never received the email then the code didn’t work and all that customer service said is that it expired. No expiration date was given with the code and no accurate information was given either. It is $200. Without this rebate I would have never switched to Verizon. This company has lost my trust.
Same issue while reason for switching to Verizon was because of the 200 rebate for porting in numbers and also employee discount. I purchased phones December 2023 reached out several times about 200 rebate and have to receive employee dis point or rebate. I have had nothing but problems with Verizon since I switch in December. Verizon were is the money you promised?
