At the Verizon Costco Kiosk back in October 2023.
With 2 lines ported to Verizon AND the purchase of two(2) new phones we were told that Verizon would give us $200 switcher rebate per line -- total $400. The rep also told us that we will receive the digital gift card via email in about 2 months after the activations.
We were waiting and didn't see any email. On 01/06/24, I called Verizon to inquire about the rebates. The Verizon Rep told me that he put in the inquiries, and we should receive the email in 3-5 days. Patiently we waited until 01/23/24 and contacted Verizon again. This time the Verizon Rep told us that we have to go to the rebate link to fill out the information... after filled in the promo code & order date, the result -- "the submission time frame has expired". And, we were told flatly that "we are sorry but there's nothing we could do or offer!" (REALLY???)
I'm not sure if this was done intentionally. But we were not informed of all the proper steps in order to receive rebates (i.e. go to the link to fill out the form). And even on my initial contact on 01/06/24, I was misled that the rebates/digital gift card will be emailed to me in 3-5 days.
I felt like I was cheated by Verizon to switch over!
