$200 Verizon Gift Card for adding new line

I added a new line to my account in August 2024.  At the time, there was a promotion for a $200 verizon gift card when adding a new line.  I have messaged and called several times in hopes of an update on when I should expect it.  Each time a different answer...."yes it's coming", "no that wasn't even a real promotion", "i'll expedite this so you'll have it in a couple days."  The promised promotion never shows.  Very frustrating.

I just opened a new line and account with Verizon and brought my own phone with me. I thought there was an $800 gift card offer but am having a heck of a time getting anyone at Verizon to get me information on this. Now I am hearing it may be only $340 for the basic plan and $540 if you are on one of the Ultimate plans.

I experienced a similar situation. I was issued a statement credit and the next month not only was the credit withdrawn - customer rep declared it was a mistake and further more I was over billed the next month. I have raised this issue here - totally ignored. Any recourse?

Almost that same thing just recently happened to me....again! First it was the phone I paid for....said it was sent...never received it. NOW I just added a line and was 100% guaranteed through promotion and new galaxy 8 watch.  Tjis took 5 days! What happened?? No watch! It's crazy 

 Im beyond shocked.

Opened 2 lines around same time with promise gift cards for each line at checkout, I believe. $200 each, so $400 in total. Never received any update or assistance and everyone I spoke with bounced me around and told me I was out of luck. Horrible experience and service to a loyal long time customer!!
