$200 gift cards

I feel like I have been punked by Verizon over $200 gift cards. It feels intentional that this is being drawn out past the window in which I could just get out of the contract.  Since late December. I have been promised different dates that these cards would be available. It was not until mid-January that I was given a link where I needed to verify the gift cards so that they could be delivered. I was promised they would be delivered today. Now I'm being done a quote, favor, by having it escalated so that I received them in 5 days. I'm not holding my breath.

The only reason I signed up for phone service in addition to the internet I originally went in to purchase is because of the good deal that I was offered which included gift cards. Verizon is trying to get out of giving me these gift cards.

Multiple times. I have had to call customer service and wait through your annoying AI voice service trying to force me to do this through text. Then I finally get a representative who all say the same exact thing and I'm on the phone for over an hour each time. In response to my extreme frustration, a representative will offer me some money off the next bill. What I want is not to have to continuously call Verizon and fight for what you promised to give me.

The customer service line process needs to be streamlined. It needs to be easier to find an option to send a written complaint. I should not have to go through all of this just to receive an incentive that Verizon put forth to attract customers.

Here is the solution that worked for me today.

1. Go to https://www.yourdigitalrebatecenter.com/#!/
2. Enter promo code cartoffer2024 and the order date, click continue
3. Enter your email address (twice), click send, and follow the rest of the steps
At the end, Verizon will provide a tracking number for checking the status here: https://www.yourdigitalrebatecenter.com/track/
