I went in to a Verizon store in Cypress Texas to upgrade my daughter’s phone and the Verizon rep told me I could add a line at no cost. I said I didn’t really need another line but if it was no cost maybe I would get one for my brother. I asked 3 or 4 times to verify no cost and he confirmed. I was shocked when I had to pay almost $75 for tax but I ate that and went home. When receiving my first bill I discovered there was an activation fee and a monthly addition to my bill of around $32 a month. None of these three expenses were disclosed to me and I feel duped. It is too late to return the phone as my brother ladies t have any money and loves his new phone.
