I have been charged for my "free" phone. I have contacted Verizon through chat and keep getting the run around. I am assured they will refund my money and it never is credited to my account. I had over 70 texts with support last week and they just disconnected me and would never respond. I communicated with at least 7 different chat workers. Now it is time for an upgrade for my phone and I am very hesitant that the same thing will happen with my next "free" phone promotion.
Who do I call to get someone to refund my money? I have a screenshot from Verizon that promised the refund.

We don't want you to miss out on any great deals, and we'll be glad to help out. When did you make the purchase for your device? What was the promotion value?

I've heard different things about the "free phone" promotions. In some cases, you are given a monthly credit for 36 months which after the 36 months is up, the credits equal the full cost of the phone. Leaving before 36 months means you have to pay the remaining balance on the phone immediately. In other cases, you are asked to pay the entire cost of the phone upfront, and then Verizon credits you back monthly for 36 months until they have paid you back all the money for the phone's cost. If you leave early, the credits stop.
If you are not seeing any kind of credit on your bill, it's entirely possible whomever you spoke with when you obtained the phone never entered the promotion in and therefore you are being charged for simply buying a phone? There are restrictions such as needing to be on Unlimited Ultimate in order to qualify for the free phone deal, and promotions cannot be combined. Verizon has been working on changes to the promotions along with their logo change, but such things won't happen instantaneously.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
