On October 28, 2023, I upgraded 3 Verizon phones on my family plan to the new i-Phone 15 +. I did this at my local Costco as they were offering a $100 Costco gift card for each phone upgrade. The only stipulation was I would not receive the three $100 Costco gift cards for 90 days, because there was a 90 day period where I could return the phones. That sounded reasonible, so I agreed.
I received the new i-Phones a few days later and mailed the old phones back to Verizon, where I was able to track the return and credit evaluation based on the conditions of the phones. Three months came and went by, and I didn't hear anything back.
On a recent trip back to my local Costco, in mid-February, I stopped at the Costco service desk and inquired about the three $100 Costco gift cards that were overdue that I was promised. (Note, the Verizon kiosk within my Costco was no longer there, replaced with an AT&T kiosk.) The Costco employee said this was a Verizon issue, not a Costco issue. However, he said he would reach out to Verizon and they would contact me to resolve my concern. I provided him my Costco membership info, my Verizon account information, as well as my email and cell phone number.
It's now a month later, and I have heard nothing from Verizon.
Who can I contact or connect with, to right this wrong? This has been a very frustrating process of finger pointing where the helpless consumer feels wrongfully ignored.
