I am disgusted with this store and Verizon. I have been a customer of Verizon for 26 years, first for a family of 4, and now for a family of 3. The manager of this store lied outright to us when we bought new phones. He said that the Hulu/Disney plan was free with our plan and then I was charged $15 on my monthly bill. He encouraged my husband and I to get insurance for a month for an international trip and promised that it would automatically cancel after a month and of course it didn't. They sold me a HORRIBLE case and screen protector. The screen protector broke in 24 hours and when I went back and said I have never had a screen protector break before, let alone in 24 hours, they wouldn't allow me to return the two items, but insisted I had to go use the "lifetime warranty" through the company that made it. For $10.99 shipping you can receive a new protector, so I ordered it. I brought the new one in and that broke in 24 hours too. I then called Verizon on April 22 and spoke with a representative for an hour. He said since I was still insured, I would receive credit for the case, the screen protector, and reimbursement for the Hulu plan with in 5 business days. He also told me that my daughter had signed the three of us on the plan for $68 worth of monthly insurance at a Verizon store in Austin. When I contacted her she was shocked as she was told there was no cost for what she signed up for. Again, I was promised credit for this $68 charge. Today, which is 15 day after the original call, I called Verizon again, as I have received no credit on my account for any of these things. Another frustrating 90 minutes on the phone and we were credited the massive amount of $10 for the Disney/Hulu plan which I never would have signed up for if I hadn't been told it was free with my plan. I am appalled by this store in Greenway Station in Middleton, WI and its' employees for their deceptive behaviors, and for selling poor products. And I am disgusted with Verizon for their lack of decent customer service, especially for a customer of 26 years! I would think that a company would want to make this right for long term customers. Stay away from this store, and be careful with Verizon deceit.
