I had a door to door salesman come to my house. He says switch to verizon and add a line and you will get 2 new free phones. I was in the market for getting my daughter her first phone so I went for it. Left tmobile after 20+ years and was excited for a new start. He first tried to give me the s23 ultra but said oh sorry that one isn't one of the free phones, but we can do the s23 plus. I got 2 of those, paid the sales tax. First bill comes and it's extreme, plus I have a charge for the phones. I chat with someone who assures me that it will be taken off in 1 to 2.billing cycles. Here I am 2 months later (Aug 2024) . I've called ver iron twice to be told that my deal was never even a promotion. Is it legal to do this? Usually what your told.is what you pay for. I have all my.texts from the sales guy. How do i fight this?
