Getting a new phone

I’ve been with Verizon for over 20yrs. I walked into a Verizon store to see what kind of deal I could get to upgrade. I was told the best deal was to add to a line so I could get my upgrade phone free. Well nothing is free. I.feel I was taken advantage of. I would have rather paid the 80$ I owed still on a phone and just upgraded from that line. I was never gave any other opinion but to add another line. Now I’m stuck in this contract for three years with a 4th line I don’t want. The phones not free I’m paying 30$ for an extra line I don’t want or need. Instead of bringing my bill down it went up. There should be a 30 day policy where you can think about what just happened and can change your mind. Verizon you should do better then take advantage of people
