I am writing to express my frustration and confusion regarding my experience with Verizon after switching from T-Mobile. When I switched, I was promised several promotions, including that my contract with T-Mobile would be taken care of, a $200 Amazon gift card, and a free iPhone 16 through my contract. I was instructed to bring a final statement of my T-Mobile bill, which was copied and included in the paperwork to facilitate the promotion.
However, to this day, I have not received any of the promised items or benefits. I’ve repeatedly visited Verizon stores and contacted customer service, but all I’ve received are vague responses and a runaround. I was told the promotion was available but that it "expired," which is contradictory to what I was initially promised.
Additionally, I've encountered numerous issues with my account. Three or four days after receiving my iPhone 16, the phone was locked, and after following Apple Store's recommendations, I had to provide proof of purchase to have it reactivated. For the first two months of service, I had no access to my account, as I was unable to register as the account’s executive owner. This meant I couldn’t see my bills or promotions. According to Verizon, the promotion was there, but since I couldn’t access my account, I was unable to receive it.
Now, my T-Mobile account has gone to collections due to the unresolved issues with Verizon, and I'm left with mounting bills I can’t pay. Despite numerous calls and visits to Verizon, I feel like I’ve been treated unfairly and have received no resolution. I’m extremely disappointed with the service I’ve received, and it is now impacting my credit.
As a last resort, I’m considering further escalating this, as I have no other course of action. I feel completely lost and confused at this point and would appreciate any assistance you can offer in resolving this matter.
