Nurse or medical discount

So I recently applied for the nurse discount and was approved so when my bill said 55 dollars higher than last bill i was confused. Well I guess I had a promo on my line in thr exact amount of the nurse discount 25 bucks and they took off the 25 from my account and charged it back. Twice. I also am eligible for the lifeline discount and I have spent over 6 hours trying to resolve this issue. It's embarrassing..like I don't know guys your website is where I got the information about how if I dont have the internet access at my home you will take 9.25 off of one line in my household. I have been approved and the latest excuse was it takes 3 to 4 billing cycles. No it doesn't. Cause if thats true how was I given a discount only to double charge me all on my very next bill. 

I have 2 lines adding a third but im super put off by this. I just went through their about me and careers and they say all these things and cant deliver on any of them. I work in a hospital I have a good job but life is expensive. That 9.25 off and 25 off would be helpful. Change thr language on your bills so people know what it is on them. It was a device promotion credit they are saying is the discount and i can only have one discount applied even though lifeline can be used with the nurse per their site. 

 

 

It's giving let's make fun of poor people by not even pretending we know how to help you and its making me want to drop them altogether.

I'll give Verizon credit for updating the verbiage in their promotions now to say offers can't be combined, but yes, discounts and promos can't be stacked.  This is just me speculating, but I think the reason why there are so many different offers out is because everyone's situation is a little different so they are trying to suit as many different circumstances as possible.  If a sales person at a store didn't make it clearer that you can't get multiple discounts on one line, that's on them.
