Rebate

I recently made the switch from Tmobile to Verizon 12/16/2024 and ported over a new line and purchased the new IPhone 16 Pro as part of the December deal with Verizon. It was advertised that by porting over a new line and switching to Verizon, I would receive a $300 rebate. I did not receive a promo code or a rebate yet and I would like assistance with this please as it has been almost a month. Thanks.

Hello Vznuser134,

We are excited to have you join our family! The $300 gift card for switching to us required you to use your previously owned device. When purchasing a new phone, you would no longer be eligible for this switcher promotion. Instead, you would qualify for any promotion for purchasing the new phone. I hope that helps clarify your question!

Good luck, you have a long road ahead of you.... This happened to me October 2024 and I yet still have no resolution.... The India customer support that they have just give the run arounds and make promises they dont keep like... One more week and you'll get your egift card or the supervisor will hop on the line and say you will receive $100 credit to your bill for the inconvenience which I've yet to see. Time wasted, no resolution in sight. Hopefully you have better luck.

Hicarmejia. We do appreciate you bring your experience with the rebate offer to our attention. Runaround, promises, and no resolution is not what we want for you. We would be happy to look into what happened last October. Please reply to the following private message to move forward.

Sailing in the same boat.  Switched to Verizon in December due to a $300 switcher promotion on Dec 8, 2024.  Switched 5 lines and till date no Rebate card received.  Chasing customer care since last 2 months, each time getting a reply that in next 4-5 days, I will be receiving the gift cards.  Not sure why Verizon is taking customers on a ride.  Is it even legal to promise something to attract customers and once they switch, don't even care to keep the commitments?  Highly disappointed and will be moving out of Verizon soon.

The last thing I would want to see is for you to leave us, Kuamrsanjeev. I know how important these types of offers are, and I would share your frustration if I was having to chase after my rebates as well. I would be happy to take a closer look into this. Please be on the lookout for a private message from us.

Same boat here.  Got phones in December. Was told would receive promotional code in email. Didn't receive it. Went into the store in January, was told takes longer than that, may take up to 60 days.  Waited for 60, continually checking email and spam, never received anything.  Opened a case in mid-March, was told I'd receive an update in 3 - 5 business days.  2 weeks later and did not hear anything.  Have now been on the phone for 45 minutes trying to get resolution. Being told it's getting escalated.   Extremely frustrating.   Starting to feel sorry I switched carriers.....

This is not the experience we want you to have as a new Verizon customer. It is important that you receive all the benefits of the promotion you qualify for. I'm glad you were able to speak with someone and I want to make sure we support you throughout until you receive a resolution. What was the outcome of the phone call with our support team?

Verizon, are you gonna wait for all of your customers you promised the $300 rebate to post here & reach out to you for endless hours before you fix the issue?? I'm also still waiting for my $300 e-gift card rebate. The rebate promo was 300CARTOFFER24. Which clearly stated if i purchase a new phone form my cart I would be eligible for the offer when switching over. Whichever Verizon Rep first replied to this original thread said  you don't get the rebate if you purchase a new phone form Verizon. So you mean to say if we don't give Verizon business then we'll be eligible for rebates. What kind of nonsense is that? 300CARTOFFER24 you can understand/takeaway from the code $300 rebate offer for purchasing whats in your cart in 2024. Which is exactly what I did w/my new GS 24 from you guys. So why have I not received my rebate 5-6 months after my purchase. And customer support is telling me bcuz I received a $200 switch rebate for switching from T-mobile to Verizons Unlimited Plus Plan from code 200SWITCHNOV24. I'm not eligible for 2 rebates, nowhere did it ever say that. Why are you guys just making things up out of no where & not giving people their rebates??

Reached out to Verizon, Pam specifically took care of the issue. Unfortunate I had to reach out this many times & wait this long but Pam was able to take care of pretty quickly. Thanks Pam!

I'm having the exact same problem and I'm so frustrated. Made the switch in December 2024, was assured I'd get an email in 3 months with rebate information but have not gotten anything. I've reached out to customer service many times without any help, it's just gotten progressively more frustrating. They didn't even accurately apply my old phone's trade-in value but won't fix it because the customer service over the phone knows nothing. I'm regretting switching.

Hello and thank you for bringing this concern to our attention. It is not our intention to delay any promotion redemptions, and I'd love to review your account to see why you have not yet recieved what you were promised. We can also go over your trade-in-value.. Im sending you a private note in order to get this resolved.
