In Dec I switched to Verizon
They had a great deal going on with free S23 and trade in old phones for a lesser bill. We did just that. Was told to send our decives to a place in Texas. I told sales rep couldn't afford over $400 @ month. i am raising 2 grandsons and have 2 disabled children. Was assured with thw trade ins @ $200 per phone at least , our bill would be half of the $400. Sent in devices and never heard anything. Multiple calls and trips to store and nothing. My lines were disconnected because I couldn't afford the bill. One month in to no service , got my phones returned. I was mad and threw away the box and put phones in a drawer. Taxes came , paid over $800 to turn on phones ., after speaking to a rep. But not before I had to explain everything to 6 different people. A guy names ALAN, finally helped me. Got phones restored after payment and told me to take phones into store ( Verizon) would.still.honor this promo. In store got told we needed recovery kits for the phones for trade in. But had to call customer service. After a couple weeks of calling in and being told we don't need that and returning to store to be told we do another billing cycle. I feel like I'm being g toyed with. And in store that I'm being laughed at. The manager from the store basically told me that I don't know what you expect me to do and the recovery kit scenario it xxxxx( bad word) I pointed to the guy who told us that and he admitted it. And all had a great laugh. I called customer service again. Explained to 3 people and being transfered over and over. For what.....nothing. I habe a bill I can't afford. And a Verizon store full of employees that laugh when I walk in the store. I'm at wits end. ......
