Im extremely upset with Verizon. I was lured into switching 6 lines from Tmobile and I feel it was the wrong decision now. I was promised to get $200 switcher credit on all 6 phone lines, and now I am being told I am only entitled on 3 of the lines, which amounts to a loss of $600. This is a deal breaker. I agreed to switch to Verizon because of this rebate . I then conatced the Verizon rep who said that only the higher 'plan' gets the $200 rebate. Oh no!, I was NOT told that. He said quite the opposite and that I would get $1200 credit for the 6 lines. He then appolgized that I was missinformed by him, and sent me a text staing his boss will work somethig out to get me a credit since it was Verizon mistake for false information. I then went on chat with Verizon and they are sticking by their decision to deny me $600 in PROMISED credits.

So Verizon reached out with a nice warm and friendly message , only to end up NOT honoring the credit which was promised to me. What an elgant way to steal from customers . Im done

I too was told we would be getting a $200 visa gift card per line (2 for us). Never received an update about it so I reached out via chat support on January 10th and she said we would get an email with the details in the next few days and she confirmed we were eligible for this promotion.
I reached back out to chat support today for status and they now saying we aren’t eligible and can’t find that promotion.
I’m beyond annoyed. Switching has been a terrible experience.

I have had the same issue after buying 2 new phones and porting in 2 lines. I have been on the phone with Verizon employees on 3 separate occasions over 4 weeks who have confirmed Verizon’s error with repeated denials of my rebate submissions.
Look at how many people post to the Verizon forums trying to get their rebates.
This is not a good business practice. I’m reporting to BBB and canceling my 4 lines with Verizon
