Switcher Rebate

We just switched two phone lines to Verizon at a local Verizon Store last Friday, 12/13/2024.  We were told that we qualified for a $200 rebate on each phone, and that offer is also in writing on our receipt with instructions to redeem it at m.vzw.com/rebatenotification.  When I access the site, there are no notifications.  How do I redeem our two rebates?

I see that others also have similar issues with these rebates, but I have not seen a recent solution.

Thank you everyone for your help.  A Private Message conversation with Verizon support seems to have solved all the issues.  All this frustration could have been avoided if I had been given the Promo Code by the Verizon Store where I obtained the phones and service.  It deems to be a simple process if you know the right code.

Yes, I tried My Verizon and there are no notifications.  I am getting many emails welcoming me and suggesting additional services, but nothing regarding the rebates.

Was there a code on your receipt to enter at the rebate website?  If not, see this thread from someone who successfully got their Switcher Rebate earlier this year (has codes and websites to use):

[update] Upon looking at that thread myself, there's a requirement that you must buy a new phone from Verizon along with porting in a number.  As often as I've seen threads about this topic, I'm wondering if the reason why not everyone is able to get the rebate is because they brought their own device when porting in.

Yes,  I found this post earlier and tried it then.  Today, I tried it again.  The response I receive is, "Promo Code with the Order/Purchase date can't be found.   Please check your information and try again."  Of course, trying again yields the same results.  I do have a paper copy of the receipt noting the date and order with me.  Seems to me like Verizon is making this so difficult that I will give up and they can avoid honoring their commitment with me.

I hope someone else has some suggestions.  Looks like I may need to return to the Verizon Store to straighten this out.

P.S. I am following the post you referenced advice, and keeping paper copies of all my actions and Verizon's responses.  Sure not a good start to a new relationship.

That's a bummer.  Maybe the store you went to wasn't a corporate Verizon store, and therefore not included in the promotion?  Or the phone you purchased wasn't a qualifying phone.  Or the store employee simply forgot to give you a promo code tied to your order, so now the system won't let you enter any codes at all since there isn't one tied to your order.  If you do fit the bill for the offer, then I sure hope someone at Verizon can assign a code to your order so then it'll go through.

Thank you.  I did check that the store I made the transaction with was a corporate store.  Had to bypass several stores nearer to our house.
