I switched carriers to Verizon from TMobile on 11/25/24 with the understanding that I would get a $300 for signing up. Nothing was ever communicated following this. I called 2 days later and after they switched my number over, I was told I’d receive something in 3 business days. Nothing. I called and chatted multiple times following this. Once I was told it would be 15 days and I could submit a claim. Another time I was told 60 days. I never received ANY further information on how to retrieve this gift card. There is no “rebate code” on my receipt (I only found out this was a thing from looking at other posts from people who ALSO DIDNT RECEIVE THIS GIFT CARD). At this point I believe this is a grift by Verizon to get people to sign up when they have absolutely no intention of paying out these gift cards. This is extremely shady business and I would NOT switch carriers. As long as the executives gets to stay rich by sc*mming the customers, it’s all good for them, right?
