In July my family ordered 4 new iphone 15 plus on a promotion. During checkout 3 of the lines had a box marked no tradein required with a monthly fee for 36 months of roughly $3.62. This seemed to goo d to be true but I went for it. Our other line which was my wife's which had a different phone for trade in did not offer the "no trade in required" option so we proceeded with 3 lines "no trade in required" and 1 line that would require trade in.
After returning the one phone a month later we received 4 emails stating non of our phones were returned in time at that the $900 trade in credit was being reversed. I called verizon 3 times on this day and received 3 different responses. Ultimately they said the "no trade required" box I checked during checkout must have been a glitch and that we did need to trade in the other 3 phones. I was not happy about this buit we still had the phones and it seemed better to return them than pay that fee. I was ssured that time would be extended and we should send the other 3 phones in.
Since then we received credit for the 1st phone that was sent back in July. The other 3 phones which were confirmed delivered by UPS Verizon shows 2 received and one not received. We have received none of the credits for any of them. Phone calls to CS resulted in nothing. I was told there were no notes on our account and that we would not be receiving credits because the phones were shipped late. this i after not one but several calls to CS in Aug in which they assured me if we sent the phones back this would all be resolved.
I'm at the end of my rope with CS. Every call starts from point zero and there are no notes on the account at least that is what I'm being told. I have record of 2.5hrs of phone conversations and there are no notes even though I specifically requested and confirmed with supervisor that they had attached proper notes to the account!
Has anyone else had an experience like this? I sent our trade ins as instructed late. We're not receiving credits. On top of this Verizon lost one of our trade ins and won't take responsibility. the shipping tags were provided by Verizon and UPS confirms delivery. Liability is on Verizon for the loss but noone at CS will resolve these issues. Please someone help us. The whole thing is a disater and CS is useless now....
