Verizon Promo Rebate

New customer here! I think I fell for the “Switch to verizon and we’ll pay off your phone” bait. It’s been well over 2 months, been contacting verizon for my rebate and they have been sending me into this loop of “we’ll send the ticket for you, please wait 5 to 7 days”. Been waiting more than the 7 days, contacted customer service many times to be told the same thing. They confirmed with me that they did not send me an email for my promo code, confirmed to me as well that they already sen the ticket many times and can’t see the promo, but I was still told to wait AGAIN and still have to go through the process (back to square one).  How many times do I have to go through the process? I have already occurred late fees for my phone with my old carrier- still no rebate. I am thinking this violates consumer law. Has anybody experienced this same situation with verizon as a new customer? I am so frustrated. I kinda regret switching. I’m at the point of wanting to return their phone and gladly go back to my old carrier and just pay off my old phone and keep my services with them.
